Haitian Cocoa Dome/Ball (Chokola)

Ingredients:
1 cup of any milk of your choice
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 sticks of cinnamon
3 pieces of star anise
1/2 of a Haitian Cocoa Dome/Ball (Chokola)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp freshly grated ginger or ginger powder
1 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions:
This process takes about 15–20 minutes and it’s so worth it!
1. In a small pot over medium heat, bring your preferred milk to a boil.
2. Add all ingredients, including the half cocoa dome/ball. Stir continuously to help everything dissolve and blend smoothly.
3. Once the cacao is completely melted, your rich Haitian chocolate is ready to enjoy!
Note:
These cacao dome/ball have been finely ground in an electric mill, re-melted and remolded in Brockton, Massachusetts. They now include added spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, enhancing both flavor and convenience. There’s no need to strain; simply melt and serve.
You may adjust the recipe to match your serving size.
